'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' a hit for local fans on opening night

If you haven't seen it, you should.

Local Star Wars fans can agree on one thing: ‘The Last Jedi’ did not disappoint.

Moviegoers at the AMC Theater in Brooklyn gave all thumbs up and a 10 out of 10 for the latest Star Wars sequel during Thursday's opening night screening.

The ups and downs will take you on an emotional rollercoaster, leaving you happy, angry and entertained. The special effects will take your breath away and the plot will leave you wanting more.

And that's not just local fans talking. The critic’s headlines will leave too much to the imagination.

The New York Times tells fans it embraces the magic and mystery; USA Today calling it a “Skywalker space opera” with a few twists.

Rotten Tomatoes, known for its harsh review of popular movies, landed the movie at 93 percent.

All around, ‘The Last Jedi’ has made its mark on Star Wars fans new and old.
