Gift of love for 9-year-old girl with alopecia: 'Hair for little hearts'

This is one of those stories you simply have to see.

CLEVELAND — We all know how important hair can be, and when you’re younger it seems to be the topic of many conversations.

For 9-year-old Armani Clark, those conversations would sometimes lead to just flat-out bullying as she battles alopecia.

But not for long thanks to wig specialist Monique Allen...

When Armani was just 5-months-old, her mother noticed something about her hair as it would grow and then fall out. When she got older, her teacher noticed more spots.

So her mother took Armani to the Cleveland Clinic where she was diagnosed with alopecia.

That’s when Armani’s hair journey began.

Her mother came across a page on Instagram for the Wig Dealer who was donating “Hair For Little Hearts.”

But these aren’t just your average wigs…

Everything you can think of can be done with these wigs.

Allen, owner of the Wig Dealer says it’s the reaction on the kids’ faces that she falls in love with every time.
