Manhunt underway after gun store robbery in Valley View; 2 of 3 suspects in custody

VALLEY VIEW, Ohio -- Police are still searching for one remaining suspect who robbed a gun store in Valley View overnight.

According to officials, the incident really began around 2 a.m. when the suspects stole a woman's car in Lakewood while she was parking it. The robbery then began at the Cleveland Armory gun store on Bank St. and lasted about 10 minutes.

Officers near the shop say they saw two men running from the store and into the vehicle. After a third man got in, a 10-minute chase began before the car crashed near West 25th St. and I-71.

The three suspects fled on foot and initially escaped police, but two have since been captured and are now being questioned. No information is available regarding the third suspect at this time.

A loaded firearm was found in the vehicle, according to authorities. Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Valley View Police Department.
