Parma Heights bank robber believed to be suspect for other heists across Northeast Ohio

The man who held up the Key Bank in Parma Heights is believed to be responsible for Monday's bank robbery in Parma and an unsolved July bank robbery that occurred in Ravenna.

FBI officials and Parma Heights Police are investigating the Tuesday morning armed robbery of the Key Bank on Pearl Road.

The male suspect entered the bank around 9:20 p.m. carrying a large frame, matte finish, black handgun. He ordered everybody on the ground and demanded money from two separate tellers.

The bank tellers handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. No physical injuries were reported.

The suspect was described as 5'8" to 5'9", white male, thin build, approximately mid 20's. Witnesses reported the unknown male entered a small black four door sedan.

The same suspect is believed to be responsible for Monday's bank robbery in Parma and an unsolved July bank robbery that occurred in Ravenna.
