AKRON, Ohio -- A Dairy Queen restaurant in Akron is throwing shade at two people who allegedly stole food from their freezer.
“If you see DQ chicken, tortillas, bacon, yogurt, orange juice, pork, boxes of candy etc, call Akron detective,” the restaurant wrote on Facebook Tuesday accompanied by a picture of the alleged suspects. “They pretty much cleaned out our freezer.”
The restaurant is located at 260 East Cuyahoga Falls Avenue.
“We work hard for our money and bad guys destroy,” the restaurant's Facebook page wrote in response to a woman's comment who said, “These thugs probably don't know what it's like to work.”
Somebody jokingly suggested the Dairy Queen install an electrified fence. The restaurant replied, “With glowing lights.”
When one person labeled those pictured as “losers,” the restaurant added: “Total losers and they had a great Christmas dinner.”
Akron police are investigating the crime, which happened around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16.
