Police say two people died Thursday night when a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu crashed on E.131 Street at Bartlett Avenue. They were found dead when emergency crews arrived around 11:30 p.m. A third person was taken to a local hospital, where police say he underwent surgery for his injuries.

The victims' identities have yet to be released, but police say the driver who was killed was a 38-year-old woman. The other victim was a male, but his age has not been provided.
