WILLOUGHBY, Ohio — The Willoughby Police Department is investigating after the body of a man was found near the parking lot of Swensons Drive-In on Euclid Avenue.

Several Willoughby Service Department employees were picking up garbage along the berm when they saw what looked to be a dead body. Police found what Begovic termed a "badly decomposed male" at the base of the embankment near foliage.

Technicians from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrived at the scene to assist, along with members of the Lake County Coroner's Office. The man's body was later taken to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.

UPDATE: The body has been identified as 51-year-old Tim Pae of Willowick. The cause of death is still being investigated.

Willoughby police say Pae was wearing Asics tennis shoes (gray with blue Asics logo), navy blue jogging pants and sweatshirt, and a black-striped t-shirt.
