AMHERST, Ohio — Police say an Amherst Steele High School student's email account was hacked and sent a "disturbing" email to several other students.

The email was sent Thursday at 4:06 p.m. with the subject line, "Phantom thieves show of power."

Police did not elaborate on details of the email.

Police say they're also investigating images circulating on Instagram and Facebook which may be associated with the email hack.
