AMBER Alert active in Dayton after teen abducts baby

Important info out of Dayton.

DAYTON, Ohio -- Authorities have activated an AMBER Alert in Dayton after a 15-year-old girl allegedly abducted a 9-month-old boy.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is looking for 15-year-old Ty'Kariah Smith who is accused of abducting 9-month-old I'Zyion Reese around 3 a.m. in the area of Harberer Avenue.

Authorities say Smith and Reese are not related.

Smith fled in an unknown direction and was last seen in the 2300 block of Oakridge Avenue around 4 a.m.

Smith is described as being 5-foot-4 and 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Reese is 2 feet tall and 18 pounds with four small ponytails on top of his head. He was wearing only a diaper when he was taken.

If you see the suspect, child or vehicle, you should call 911. Authorities did not say the AMBER Alert is statewide.
