CANAL FULTON, Ohio — This is a great story.

Prior to the start of Saturday's winter storm, police officers in Canal Fulton were called to help out a disabled man, whose van had broken down.

The broken down van meant the gentleman couldn't get to the grocery store in time to shop before the snow flew down in Stark County.

So Canal Fulton's finest decided to take the gentleman's grocery list and go shopping for him.

"Even though police officer jobs are temporary in life, if they do good deeds, their work there will last forever," the department quoted on its Facebook page.

The officers that came to the man's rescue were John Barabasch, Jon Curnutte, and Lawrence Township Officer Sean Vandenburg.

Bravo.
