More than 500 motorcycles honor the fallen in Memorial Cops Ride

Each year, participants gather to honor Ohio's fallen officers.

CLEVELAND -- The revving of engines filled Lakeside Avenue with pride as more than 500 motorcyclists took park in the 10th Annual Cops Ride.

Our own Monica Robins served as the Master of Ceremonies at the Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial. The ride began at 11 a.m.

Each year participants gather to honor and remember Ohio's fallen law enforcement officers.

In the year 2017, 135 officers lost their lives, including four from Ohio: Cleveland Police Officer David Fahey, Jr.; Kirkersville Police Chief Steven Eric DiSario; Lancaster Police Officer Marvin Scott Moyer; Girard Police Officer Justin A. Leo.
