16-year-old Indiana girl in Amber Alert found safe in Arkansas

Authorities told 'The Times of Northwest Indiana' Sunday afternoon that she was found safe.

CROWN POINT, Ind. — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office in Indiana has requested an AMBER Alert for a teenage girl missing from Crown Point, Indiana since Saturday morning.

Lake County authorities told The Times of Northwest Indiana Sunday afternoon that she was found safe in Arkansas.

The girl's family told NBC 5 in Chicago that their daughter had been found in Arkansas, but the State Police had not canceled the Amber Alert Sunday afternoon.

Madison Elizabeth Yancy Eddlemon is a 16-year-old female, 5' 1", 97 pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes, last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans with tears and shin high boots and black lace choker.

She's been missing since 9 a.m. Saturday in Crown Point and is believed to be in extreme danger.

Eddlemon is believed to be with Alexander Martin Curry-Fishtorn, a 22-year-old male, 5' 7", 158 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, driving a dark gray 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt with Indiana license plate number 645RIS.
