Founded in 2017, Players' Weekend is intends to "effectively market the sport's stars and to engage a young audience." In addition to wearing brighter jerseys -- made in the style of little league uniforms -- players wear patches on their sleeves where they can write the name of someone who aided their development or inspired them growing up.

Per MLB.com's Anthony Castrovince, the game-worn jerseys from the weekend will be auctioned off at MLB.com, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation.

Jerseys, caps and special socks for the weekend are already available for sale at MLBShop.com, as well as the Indians' team shop at Progressive Field.
