MLB playoffs schedule: Cleveland Indians take on Houston Astros in ALDS

Major League Baseball's regular season comes to a close this Sunday, meaning it's time for some lucky fans to set their sights on the postseason. That includes Clevelanders.

The Cleveland Indians will begin the playoffs with a tough task, taking on the defending World Champion Houston Astros in the American League Division Series.

The National League will lead off the postseason with its Wild Card game Oct. 2 and the American League will follow the next day.

The Indians and Astros begin their series in Houston Oct. 5.

The World Series is scheduled to begin Oct. 23, with Game 7 scheduled for Halloween.

All games will air on ESPN, Fox, FS1, TBS or MLB Network.
