The Cleveland Cavaliers have reportedly come to terms with free agent point guard Isaiah Taylor on a one-year contract, according to Yahoo's Shams Charania.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
The 24-year-old Taylor will compete for playing time in a busy Cavs backcourt that also includes George Hill, Jordan Clarkson and rookie first-round pick Collin Sexton.
Taylor played 67 games for the Atlanta Hawks in 2017-18, making nine starts, averaging 6.6 points and 3.1 assists. He was waived at the end of June. The 6'3" Taylor was undrafted coming out of the University of Texas. He played in his first NBA game with the Houston Rockets in April 2017 after missing most of his rookie year with a groin injury.
