INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- As media day gets set to kickoff, Cleveland Cavaliers forward-center Channing Frye is making himself right at home.

On Monday -- just an hour before Frye and the rest of the Cavs were set to meet with the media -- All-Star forward Kevin Love posted a video to his Instagram story showing the recently reacquired big man getting reacquainted with his team's locker room. It appears, however, that Frye won't be reprising his old locker at Cleveland Clinic Courts, but rather the corner locker that was formerly occupied by LeBron James.

"Hey, Channing, who's locker did you take?" Love can be heard asking Frye, who had his feet resting atop the locker while eating a bowl of food.

"Some dude's," Frye replied.

"Wow!" Love responded.

Of course, that "dude" happens to also be a 4-time MVP and 14-time All-Star, who left the Cavs in free agency this past summer to sign with this Los Angeles Lakers. The open roster space -- and locker, apparently -- allowed Cleveland the space to re-sign Frye, who ironically had been traded to the Lakers at the 2018 NBA trade deadline after having spent parts of three seasons with the Cavs.

In returning to Cleveland, Frye is expected to provide a veteran locker room presence and also depth in the team's frontcourt. Appearing in 53 games between his time with the Cavs and Lakers, the 6-foot-11 Frye averaged 5.0 points and 2.8 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per contest.
