CLEVELAND — As we've said a couple of times this year, sometimes when the Browns win, it still feels like they lose.
The Browns kept their slim playoff hopes alive on Sunday by beating the Cincinnati Bengals, 27-19, at FirstEnergy Stadium.
But it was not without controversy before and afterwards.
We heard prior to the game that wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was both dealing with a sports hernia and telling teams to 'come get me' in the offseason.
After the win, quarterback Baker Mayfield weighed in on the Beckham injury, pointing the finger of the blame on the Browns medical staff. He later tried to pivot on Twitter, but the damage had already been done.
Despite all of the drama, the Browns have won four of their last five games and could still finish the 2019 season with a winning record.
