CLEVELAND -- As the Cleveland Browns prepare for their primetime matchup with the New York Jets on Thursday night, they'll be without a mainstay on their sideline as they look to pick up their first victory in more than 600 days.

According to both Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot and Cleveland Scene's Vince Grzegorek, Browns sideline reporter Nathan Zegura will miss the team's Thursday night matchup after arguing a call during Sunday's 21-18 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Dustin Fox, the co-host of 'Bull & Fox' on 92.3 The fan FM will replace Zegura, according to both Cabot and Grzegorek.

Cabot added later on Wednesday that the suspension for Zegura will be for eight games. He will also be suspended from his hosting duties on Cleveland Browns Daily for the next two weeks. Zegura hosts that show Monday through Friday alongside co-host Beau Bishop on ESPN 850 WKNR AM.

Per Cabot, citing sources, Zegura was told he needed to move after arguing a call with an official in New Orleans on Sunday. He was then removed from the game.

This isn't Fox's first foray to the Cleveland sideline. During this past summer, he served as a sideline reporter alongside former Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar for the television broadcasts of the team's four preseason games.

A native of Canton, Fox played defensive back at Ohio State (2001-04) and spent time with the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills during his three-year NFL career. In addition to his duties for 92.3 The Fan and the Browns, he also calls college football games for ESPN.
