Icy conditions trigger Winter Weather Advisory

A mix of light snow, sleet and freezing rain could make driving conditions slippery through the morning commute.

Northeast Ohio will see a return to wintry conditions tonight as rain changes over to a mix of light snow, freezing rain and sleet.

The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for a good part of northeast Ohio early Thursday.

Here are the things you need to know...

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 1 PM EST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on the possibility of slippery road conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses, including during the morning commute on Thursday. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road conditions can be obtained from the Department of Transportation web site.
