Former Ohio State, NFL receiver Terry Glenn killed in car crash

Glenn was a Columbus native who starred at Ohio State prior beginning his NFL career.

Former Ohio State and NFL wide receiver Terry Glenn was reportedly killed in a car crash, according to NBC Sports.

Glenn was 43 years old.

Glenn was a Columbus native who starred at Ohio State prior to beginning his NFL career with the New England Patriots as the seventh overall pick of 1996 draft.

After six seasons in New England, Glenn spent one season with the Green Bay Packers before ending his career through five seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.

TMZ reports that Glenn was killed early Monday in Texas, when he was ejected from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. TMZ also reports Glenn's fiancee was a passenger in the car. She reportedly survived.

A cause of the crash has not been determined.
