Election Results - June 11, 2024
Tuesday, June 11, 2024 is a special election day in Ohio where voters cast their ballots to fill Ohio's 6th District Congressional seat. Republican state Sen. Michael Rulli and Democrat Michael Kripchak are the candidates from the the two major parties looking to represent Ohio's eastern border in Congress. Christopher Lafont is also running as an independent.
In Northeast Ohio, voters from Carroll, Columbiana, Stark, and Tuscarawas counties will be able to vote in the race.
Former Congressman Bill Johnson vacated his congressional seat earlier this year when he started his new role as Youngstown State University president. Johnson has represented the sixth congressional district since 2011.
