US Air Force veteran brings 'roller coasters you can drive' to Ohioans with Infinity Cars: First Look

Military veteran Davaughn Wagner, co-owner of Infinity Adventures, lets you rent the only Infinity Cars available in the state for your private events

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — If you're looking for an incredible, thrilling experience that's fun for the whole family, you might consider stopping by SouthPark Mall in Strongsville this weekend to visit U.S. Air Force veteran Davaughn Wagner and check out his Infinity Cars.

If you've never heard of an Infinity Car, that's probably because Wagner is the first to bring them to Ohio, through his new mobile entertainment business, Infinity Adventures.

Wagner describes the cars, which each seat two people, as an amusement park ride that feels like "a roller coaster you can drive," and having been behind the controls of one for the first time today, I'd have to agree.

The description from the company website calls the Infinity Cars "a thrilling ride for two that spins in place and rotates 360 degrees." The driver uses a joystick-style control to make the car roll forward and backward, and rotate left and right, all while the inner cage responds to your movements. There are separate buttons that allow the riders to spin within the cage that's inside the larger frame, and even hover inverted.

When Wagner set out to start his own business after retiring from the military in 2019, he knew he wanted to bring something to the table that both he and his children would personally enjoy. When he came across Infinity Cars online, he knew he had found his next move.

"I was immediately intrigued by their unique design and exciting features," he said. "Our Infinity Cars can be used at any event or location with a hard, flat, and horizontal surface, both indoors and outdoors, including grass."

For everyone's safety and the best operation of the ride, Infinity Cars can't be used on wet, sandy, rocky or sloped surfaces.

If you're looking to rent Infinity Cars for your next event, you should know that while there's no age or license requirement, riders have to be between 4-feet and 6-foot-2-inches tall, with a maximum weight of 220 pounds per rider.

It costs $250 to rent one Infinity Car for one hour, and $200 per car for each additional hour.

People who might be interested can experience a test ride for themselves at Infinity Adventures' Ride and Roll event this weekend at SouthPark Mall, until 8 p.m. on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. A 3-minute ride at the Ride and Roll event costs just $10.
