NFL legends return to Northeast Ohio for 2023 Pro Football Hall of Fame Canton Repository Grand Parade

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2023 took part in the annual parade on Saturday morning.

CANTON, Ohio — Just hours away from being enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the 2023 enshrinement class was in the Canton Repository Grand Parade.

The parade featured the Class of 2023 enshrinees, including Browns legend Joe Thomas, as well as returning Hall of Famers, as they made their way down the 2.2-mile parade route. 

Giant helium balloons, marching bands, floats, classic vehicles and specialty units were also in the parade. 

In addition, 3News' Stephanie Haney and Mike Polk Jr. were in the parade with a special tribute to Joe Thomas. 

This year, the following additions are new to the parade: 

  • Budweiser Clydesdales leading the parade

  • NFL team specialty units

  • United States Marines Band

  • South Shore Drill Team

  • 12 grand floats

  • 9-10 impressive balloons

  • Monster Truck

  • Canal Fulton Mini Boat and Horses

  • Several radio hosts/costumes characters

The annual tradition that takes place during Enshrinement Week draws nearly 200,000 people each year. According to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the parade is the fifth largest in the country and Canton’s biggest free event.
