CLEVELAND — Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, David joins WKYC from Rockford, Ill. after four years there. David graduated from Michigan State University: with a degree in journalism.
Catch David on 3News as a reporter with the GO! Morning show team and as a co-anchor on Saturday mornings.
At his previous station, WTVO/WQRF, David spent two years co-anchoring the station’s morning show. He originally started his career in sports at the station as a weekend anchor/reporter, transitioning to news to broaden his passion for storytelling.
While working in Rockford, David covered President Biden’s visit to a local Stellantis manufacturing plant, multiple Tornado and severe weather outbreaks, and countless breaking news events.
While he doesn’t work in sports anymore, you can’t turn his love for them off. He’s a ‘self-appointed long-suffering Chicago sports fan,’ but says he’s already adopting Cleveland’s three professional teams, and can’t wait to share his passion with the city’s finest fans.
While in college, David interned at WLNS, NBC Sports, Big Ten Network Student U, and was a bullpen catcher on the MSU Baseball team before hanging up his cleats for a headset, broadcasting the game for the Spartan Sports Radio Network.
