CLEVELAND — Here. We. Go.
Aerosmith is coming to Cleveland later this year with their “Peace Out” farewell tour at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Sunday, Sept. 29 -- and they will be joined by the Black Crowes as special guests.
Aerosmith was originally slated to perform in Cleveland last year, but the band had to postpone the show as lead singer Steven Tyler reportedly experienced vocal cord damage.
Tickets for the concert go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 12. VIP meet-and-greet options are also available.
Live Nation says all previously purchased tickets will be honored, and current ticketholders can expect to receive more information in an e-mail.
If you can’t make it to the concert in Cleveland, Aerosmith is also taking their tour to Cincinnati on Oct. 17 and Columbus on Jan. 13.
“Every night will pay homage to the five decades of Aerosmith’s groundbreaking hits as they celebrate over 50 years as America’s greatest rock band,” according to the concert announcement from Live Nation. “In addition, THX will bring their THX Certified Live! high-fidelity experience on the road, calibrating each arena with leading-edge technology so fans don’t miss a beat of Aerosmith’s classic rock tunes in quality audio.”
Aerosmith was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
