“A festival like BorderLight creates reputational impact, affirming Cleveland’s place on the cultural map as a destination for the arts, ” said Dale Heinen, Co-Founder/Co-Director of BorderLight
BorderLight is one of the hundreds of theatre festivals across the world. This year’s festival will feature a curated selection of international touring productions and theatrical performances by local and national self producing artists.
All of the shows will feature these experiences:
Dance
Circus
Immersive experiences
Puppetry
Spoken world
Pop-up performances
Comedy
BorderLight provides independent artists with a platform to display their work and engage new audiences.
"Through BorderLight, Cleveland is uniquely positioned to offer best in class theatre and interactive experiences to all people, at the same time supporting our city with great joy, anticipation, and hope," said Heinen
This summer’s festival marks the second BorderLight bi-annual event.
In 2019, the inaugural event brought thousands to downtown Cleveland to see many individuals’ works of talent.
