SANDUSKY, Ohio -- Cedar Point is trying to combat cell phone loss by banning the devices on its Steel Vengeance roller coaster.

According to the Sandusky Register, cell phones are no longer permitted in the Steel Vengeance line. Instead, devices must be stored in a locker or with a non-rider.

Cedar Point spokesman Tony Clark told the Register, "Similar to the rider safety policies on other thrilling rides at Cedar Point, loose articles, including cellphones, are not permitted on Steel Vengeance."
