CLEVELAND — The annual Cleveland Restaurant Week, a yearly promotion hosted at Cleveland Independents restaurants, will remain in March.

This year, Cleveland Restaurant Week will be from March 9-21. A spokesperson on behalf of Cleveland Independents issued a correction Tuesday after previously reporting that the 2020 event would be Feb. 17-29. The spokesperson says the February dates were a "miscommunication."

Cleveland Restaurant Week provides an ideal opportunity to discover new eateries and food, as participating restaurants offer special three-course prix fixe menus for $33. Past participating restaurants have included local staples, such as Lago and Alley Cat, while newcomers also join the event to attract new customers.

The event stretches beyond the city's borders, as foodies can find participating restaurants as far as Sandusky, Akron and Medina.
