Marc Anthony performed at the halftime show during the International Champions Cup match between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona on Saturday, just two days after announcing his mother's death.
The 47-year-old salsa singer upheld his previously scheduled commitment to perform at the "El Clasico" match, held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, and he did his best to give the crowd the kind of show-stopping live concert that makes him a best-selling star.
Anthony delivered a four-song medley, featuring his singles "I Need to Know," "Tu Amor Me Hace Bien," "La Gozadera" and "Vivir Mi Vida," while rocking a dark suit and black shades.
The singer looked emotional as he walked off the field following his performance in front of the massive, sold-out arena.
