Sylvester Stallone is remembering his late friend.
The Rocky star shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, after actor Tony Burton, who played Apollo Creed's trainer in the iconic boxing franchise, died Thursday at age 78.
"Tony Burton who played the character of Duke brilliantly in all six Rocky movies… Rest in peace," Stallone wrote.

Burton, who was from Flint, Michigan, spent much of the past year in the hospital, and due to health issues, was not able to see Creed, the critically acclaimed reboot of the Rocky franchise, centered around Apollo's son, Adonis
