CLEVELAND — Have you lived in Northeast Ohio forever? Or maybe your new to the area?
Whatever your story, the region has tons to offer when it comes to experiences and adventures.
However, at times it can be hard to find and narrow down the best ways to spend your time. That's where I come in. Normally, I keep you up to date on the latest pop culture stories everyday in Pop Break on What's New at 5 p.m.
But now, with this new segment, "3 Things Poppin' in Northeast Ohio," I'll be sharing with you my picks for trendy things to do on the weekends.
So without further delay, here's what I think you should check out this weekend, Dec. 10-13.
Christmas is just two weeks away and if you’re like me you probably still need to get some shopping done.
So why not shop local at the Solon Hometown Holiday Market.
The handmade market is being put on by Avant Garde Art and craft shows and will feature artists and crafters selling their original items.
You can shop until you drop for free on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 .m. at the Solon Community Center.

But, if your shopping is done, how about a holiday lights tour?
The folks over at the Shipyards Express in Lorain are hoping on the trolley and showing off the best holiday lights in the area.
The fun includes a festive cocktail from their pop-up bar Santa City, but you can also bring your own booze.
Tickets are just $40 bucks and you enjoy a ride on either Saturday or Sunday!

And last but not least, if you’re feeling like a scrooge this year, that’s okay—we still love you. But, grab your dancing shoes instead.
The folks behind the popular Gumbo Dance party at B-side lounge in Cleveland Heights are switching things up for a reggae and R & B party on Saturday.
The vibes will kick off at 10 p.m. and continue until 2 a.m. The cover charges is just $5.
