CLEVELAND — Have you lived in Northeast Ohio forever, or maybe you're new to the area? Whatever your story, the region has tons to offer when it comes to experiences and adventures.
However, at times it can be hard to find and narrow down the best ways to spend your time. That's where I come in.
Normally, I keep you up to date on the latest pop culture stories every day in "Pop Break" on "What's New" at 5 p.m. But now, with this new segment "3 Things Poppin' in Northeast Ohio," I'll be sharing with you my picks for trendy things to do on the weekends!
So without further delay, here's what I think you should check out in this weekend, October 28 through October 30.
Boo Bash at Tower City
Up first, October is the epitome of spooky season and what better way to celebrate than a boo bash.
On Saturday from noon to 4 in the afternoon, tower city is hosting a family friendly event complete with costumes, music, pumpkin carving and of course trick or treating.

Dia De Muertos at Cleveland Public Theater
And how about adding some culture to your celebration with dia de Muertos at Cleveland Public Theater.
On Saturday, from 11 in the morning to 10 at night, CPL is celebrating dia de meruetos, or day of the dead, a holiday in Mexico and throughout Latin America that celebrates those who have passed.
Attendees can enjoy alter installations, food, live music and more.
The family friendly event is free and open to the public.

R& B experience at the Wolstein Center
And if the Halloween spirit, isn’t calling you, how about checking out some good music.
The R & B experience is taking over the Wolstein Center.
Some of the biggest names in R&B including Monica, Dru Hill, Tevin Campbell and more are coming to Cleveland this Sunday - R& B experience
The concert begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are still available for less than $150.
