CLEVELAND — Have you lived in Northeast Ohio forever, or maybe you're new to the area? Whatever your story, the region has tons to offer when it comes to experiences and adventures.
However, at times it can be hard to find and narrow down the best ways to spend your time. That's where I come in.
Normally, I keep you up to date on the latest pop culture stories every day in "Pop Break" on "What's New" at 5 p.m., but now, with this new segment "3 Things Poppin' in Northeast Ohio," I'll be sharing with you my picks for trendy things to do on the weekends.
So without further delay, here's what I think you should check out this weekend, July 8-10!
Wonderstruck Music Festival
Live music is returning to Lake County!
Wonderstruck is taking over Lakeland Community College this weekend. The annual music festival is being headlined by The Lumineers on Saturday and Vampire Weekend on Sunday, plus several other acts across the various stages, too.
Tickets start at $50 for students, and festival gates open at noon. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.
Grand Slam Beerfest
What do you get when you combine, baseball, and craft drink? It's the Grand Slam Beerfest happening Saturday at Progressive Field!
For just $55, guests will have the chance to sample more than 200 local and craft beers, seltzers, and winea. The event is split into two sessions, with the first starting at 1 p.m. and the second at 7 p.m.

Reggae in the Harbor
If you want to enjoy the outdoors while having a lot of fun, Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park is having its first outdoor concert of the season on Saturday.
Reggae in the Harbor is put on by the lighthouse music festival series and starts at 3 p.m. Not only will there be live music, there'll be dozens of food trucks and artists too. Best part, it's free!
