CLEVELAND — The popular outdoor music event Brite Winter returns to the West Bank of the Flats on February 25 with the theme of "Anchors Away!"
The theme of this year's event is said to "celebrate Cleveland's connection to the Cuyahoga River and the Great Lakes."
Brite Winter will be headlined this year by the Cleveland native group Welshly Arms. There will be a total of 20 musical acts playing at this year's event.
Tickets for the event are $10 if purchased in advance, $15 at the door and $30 for a combo pack that includes a festival hat and koozie. Fluri's Clubhouse tickets can be purchased for $75 and include access to a heated tent, upgraded restroom facilities and additional amenities.
Advanced tickets can be purchased at britewinter.com.
“Our ability to shine and compensate the artists is dependent on the generous support of Cleveland foundations, community organizations, companies and individual donors,” said Emily Hornack, Executive Director of Brite Winter. “Those who are looking to show their love and donate on a larger scale now have the Brite Backers option as a way to support the artists and fulfill Brite’s vision.”
Here is what Brite Winter says about the "Brite Backers" option on their website:
"We are seeking your support in the inaugural year of our BRITE BACKER campaign! Like many organizations, Brite has been feeling the pinch from a tough economy. Costs have sharply risen, and frankly, sponsorship funding has been challenging to secure as companies hold off on spending. The team at Brite Winter is actively adapting to the shifting tides, reworking our event footprint and carefully considering how best to allocate our resources, but we need more help.
The goal of the Brite Backer campaign is simple: Find passionate, committed civic champions who believe in our event and are willing to make a larger donation to Brite Winter to help sustain it for years to come."
