CLEVELAND — Chris Rock is coming to Cleveland!
The acclaimed stand-up comedian and actor will make a stop in Northeast Ohio during his new "Ego Death" world tour, performing a show at the Connor Palace at Playhouse Square.
The tour, which includes more than 38 performances, will visit Cleveland on June 23 and marks the first time that the Grammy and Emmy winner has toured with new material in five years. Officials with LiveNation say that additional tour dates will be announced soon.
"Ego Death World Tour 2022," Rock wrote on Twitter Tuesday afternoon. "All new material introspective very personal and very funny. Can’t wait to show you."
Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased HERE.
Rock's announcement also comes side by side with the news from former "Saturday Night Live" head writer John Mulaney who, on Tuesday, shared that he too will make a stop in The Land this September. Mulaney will perform at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Friday, Sept. 23.
