INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — Tickets for one of Northeast Ohio's favorite holiday traditions are on sale now!
In previous years, the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Christmas train has sold out, and it is expected to be once again as one of the most sought-after holiday experiences in Northeast Ohio.
The North Pole Adventure will depart from Akron Northside Station and Rockside Station in Independence during the holiday season.
The festive train ride will take place on the following dates:
- Nov. 11-22 and 25-30
- Dec. 1-21
Tickets can be purchased HERE.
CVSR's train (which replaces the popular Polar Express) is a ride for guests to write letters to Santa on their way to the North Pole. The festive journey will feature the North Pole Postmaster, that will hand-deliver participants' letters to the North Pole Post Office.
Following last year's COVID-19 restrictions, CVSR is not requiring masks or proof of vaccinations for any ride during the 2022 holiday season.
The 90-minute magical ride from Akron will depart at 7 p.m., while rides from Rockside Station will leave at 7:30 p.m.
