CLEVELAND — A "Friends" themed bar crawl is coming to Tremont in July, allowing fans of the iconic NBC show to find their "lobsters" while also drinking in support of a good cause.
According to the Eventbrite page for the crawl, all proceeds for the July 24 event will go towards granting a wish for a sick child through A Special Wish Cleveland.
Fans will be able to pick from one of seven teams to be on for the event, named after the show's main characters: Chandler, Monica, Joey, Rachel, Ross, Phoebe and Gunther, and will each receive a route passport that includes a guide to the various bars involved in the crawl.
Participating bars in Tremont include spots such as The Treehouse, The Flying Monkey Pub, Post 58, Hi and Dry, Edisons, DANTE & CODA.
Organizers say that the event will also include themed drink specials and decor based on fan-favorite episodes.
Tickets are $25 each, and all participants will receive a "Friends" themed commemorative shirt, color-coded by which team they choose to join. In total, only 350 spots are open for this event.
The first team to meet organizers at the finish line after hitting every bar will receive a prize.
All participants must be 21 or older and must have a valid ID at each bar to enter.
