MANSFIELD, Ohio — The iconic Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield -- also known as the prison from The Shawshank Redemption -- is preparing to host another Inkcarceration music and tattoo festival this summer with a lengthy list of performers, which include Godsmack, The Offspring, Shinedown, Chevelle and lots more.
Inkcarceration is a three-day event, which runs from July 19-21. A variety of ticket options are now available HERE.
“All Inkcarceration passes come with free admission to tour the famous Ohio State Reformatory & admission to the Tattoo Convention throughout the weekend,” according to the event’s site.
Inkcarceration is open to all ages, but parents are strongly encouraged to bring hearing protection for their children.

The former prison, which is also known as the Mansfield Reformatory, is open for tours throughout the year. Each Halloween season, it transforms into the Blood Prison haunted attraction.
