The Rolling Stones concert at Cleveland Browns Stadium: Parking, road closures and more

Gates for The Rolling Stones concert are set to open at Cleveland Browns Stadium at 6 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m.

CLEVELAND — The city of Cleveland is preparing for a busy weekend with The Rolling Stones performing at Cleveland Browns Stadium on Saturday.

The concert marks the band's first performance in Cleveland since 2002. 

If you are heading to the "Hackney Diamonds Tour" in downtown Cleveland, 3News has everything you need to know to prepare for a busy day.

Concert information 

  • Concert Date: Saturday, June 15, 2024

Rock Hall events 

"Rolling Stone Fan Weekend" at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will take place June 14-16. The weekend will offer something for everyone. A list of events can be found HERE

Road closures and parking

Non-Passholders:

Road Closures:

Use I-90 exits at Ontario, East 9th, Prospect or Superior to access parking downtown. Rolling Road Closures will be in effect no later than 4 p.m. The West 3rd and East 9th exits off Route 2 (Shoreway) will be closed.

Other Parking Options Include:

  • North Coast Harbor Parking Lots open 6:30 a.m. – passes only
    • ADA parking available on a first come, first served basis opens at 6:30 a.m. – cash parking $50
  • North Point Garage Employee parking opens 7 a.m.
  • Orange Lot opens 10 a.m.
    • Passholder parking only
  • Science Center Garage opens 5 p.m.
    • Passholder parking only
  • Marginal opens at 9 a.m. – cash parking $40
  • Burke opens at 12 p.m. – cash parking $40
  • Pier opens at 9 a.m. – cash parking $40
  • Muni Lot opens at 1 p.m.

Road closures:

The city of Cleveland has announced road closures of East 9th and West 3rd Streets between Lakeside Avenue and Cleveland Browns Stadium, including state Route 2 (SR 2) exits around the stadium. Rolling Road Closures will be in effect no later than 4 p.m. During this time, all pre-paid parking, passholders and guests with disability drop-offs will only be able to reach Cleveland Browns Stadium by use of North Marginal Road from East 55th Street (Exit 175 on I-90). Please note road closure times are subject to change at the City of Cleveland’s discretion. View our traffic closure routes.

Parking:

Parking lots adjacent to the stadium are reserved for pre-paid parking and passholders. Passholder lots include the Purple Lot and Tan Lot, which are located in the North Coast Harbor Lot. In addition, there is the West 3rd (Orange Lot) and the Great Lakes Science Center Garage (Red Lot). View passholder parking map here.

RTA transportation information 

Waterfront Line rail service will be provided on June 15-16, 2024. The first train leaves Tower City Station at 4:45 p.m., and the last train leaves South Harbor Station at 12:27 a.m. 

  • One-way fares ($2.50) or All-day passes ($5.00) are available on the Transit App with EZfare or at station Ticket Vending Machines
    •  NOTE: When purchasing on EZfare please make sure you select RTA
  • Plan ahead & leave early. A large crowd is expected so give yourself plenty of time to arrive safely

  • Cashless Venue: Cleveland Browns Stadium is a cashless venue. Ticketing: This is a mobile ticket event, only. Your tickets can be accessed via the Ticketmaster App. Please plan ahead and download your mobile tickets prior to arriving at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Adding your tickets to your mobile wallet will expedite your entry

In addition to legendary hits like Start Me Up and Satisfaction, fans can also expect to hear music from the new Rolling Stones album Hackney Diamonds. The Rolling Stones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989.
