The tall ships are back in Cleveland, and Thursday marked just the start of a four-day festival on the shores of Lake Erie.
Events on the day included the "Parade of Sail" as the ships arrived in the harbor, followed by the captain's reception and opening ceremony. WKYC's own Matt Wintz even climbed aboard one of the vessels.
The festival opens to the public for the next three days, with sail-aways and various activities from 9:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Several bands will also be there to play music.
