CLEVELAND — Cleveland is set to host a mammoth weekend of professional wrestling later this summer as the WWE will bring SummerSlam to Browns Stadium on August 3.
As part of the extravaganza, the WWE is also presenting Friday Night Smackdown at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on August 2. Tickets for that event will go on sale starting Friday, June 7 at 10 a.m.
You can purchase your tickets via SeatGeek.com.
The WWE adds that its SummerSlam "Priority Pass" ticket packages are now available from On Location, "offering fans the chance to be ringside for every exhilarating moment including premium seating, pre-show hospitality with WWE Superstar appearances, ringside photo opportunities and more."
In addition, the WWE says it plans to "take over the city of Cleveland with a stacked schedule throughout the week," including fan and community events in the days leading up to and following SummerSlam.
SummerSlam is returning to Cleveland for the first time since 1996. The WWE is hosting the event in conjunction with the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and the Haslam Sports Group.
Those who want to watch the event but don't plan on attending can watch SummerSlam live on Peacock beginning at 7 p.m. on August 3.
