CLEVELAND — A one-of-a-kind 5K run/walk is taking place in downtown Cleveland on Sunday.
3News' Austin Love is serving as the emcee for Tim Misny's I'll Make Them Pay 5K.
The race, which is taking place at Voinovich Bicentennial Park in downtown Cleveland, will begin at 8 a.m.
All of the proceeds from the race are going to the City Mission in Cleveland, with the goal of helping to make a difference.
"The vast majority of people at the City Mission are single moms and they have nowhere else to go," said Misny. "So the impact is so profound for that family that we can't even quantify what it means to have a safe place, great meals, healthy nutritious meals, clean clothes and someone who really cares about you and your family, not only in the moment, but in your future."
All of the runners participating will receive a finisher medal and a greeting from Tim Misny at the finish line.
Registration includes a custom event t-shirt, medal, race bib and post-race food. Anyone interested in registering can click HERE.
