'Wild Lights' return to Akron Zoo

The entire zoo is decorated with lighted wildlife and holiday displays.

AKRON, Ohio — Wild Lights at the Akron Zoo is back for the winter.

It’s the perfect family event for the holidays, with more than one million lights on display across the grounds.

The entire zoo is decorated with lighted wildlife and holiday displays. Plus, when you round Holly Jolly Hillside, you catch a festive splash of Christmas music to go along with synchronized lights.

Kids can also meet the Snow Queen or have a visit with Santa. On the way out of SantaLand, guests can stop at the Panda Treat food truck for s’mores.

There will be nightly light shows and performances from local choirs.

Wild Lights runs through Dec. 30, from 5-9p.m. each night. Click HERE for more information.
