CLEVELAND — Can you hear the Jaws music? It's among us! Fin Fest is back at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium from August 9 through the 16.
It falls on the same week as the Discovery Channel's famous "Shark Week."
And this year -- it's going to be a little different due to COVID-19 restrictions, but still just as much fun.
In a week-long spotlight on sharks, you learn to appreciate the diversity and importance these jaw-some animals.
Guests can watch shark-themed videos, or do trivia and quizzes in person, or online.
"We are a bit limited onsite, extra activities that we would normally do, which is why we're increasing the virtual portion," curator Ray Popik said.
You can also check out a live scuba demonstration with a trained professional. They'll swim around with three of the four shark species in the shark gallery: Sand Tiger; sandbar; and nurse.
Plus for the kiddos, they'll send you home with a make-and-take craft and a temporary tattoo.
