“Where all the big girls at, that’s what I want to know, “ said Grammy award-winning artist Lizzo in a video posted to Instagram over the weekend.
The queen of body positivity is in search of full-figured models and dancers who have " for far too long been underrepresented and under-appreciated," for her new unscripted series with Amazon.
According to the official casting call, "it’s an opportunity to twerk on world stages and stomp it out on the runway for an adventure of a lifetime."
Wearing a neon bikini top and matching cover-pants the 32-year-old musician encouraged women to apply for the show saying, "Bring yourself and that a**, I'm looking for you, I'm looking for you, sis," Lizzo said closing the video.
For of much of her career, the Truth Hurts singer has faced criticism for her body image and confidence. Despite the negative attention, Lizzo has remained carefree and continues to embrace her body. Back in June of last year, she even addressed trolls in a workout video posted to TikTok saying that people should focus on their own health and not others.
“Next time you want to come to somebody and judge them — whether they drink kale smoothies or eat McDonald's, or workout or not workout — how about you look at your own f*cking self, and worry about your own damn body. Because health is not just determined by what you look like on the outside, health is also what happens on the inside,” she says in a voiceover for the video.
