Westlake native Logan Paul gave a shout-out to his alma mater while appearing on WWE Monday Night Raw.

As WWE's "Road to Wrestlemania" made its way through Cleveland on Monday night, Logan Paul enjoyed a homecoming of sorts. And while doing so, the YouTube star gave a shout-out to his hometown on the national stage.

Appearing alongside fellow Northeast Ohio native, Mike "The Miz" Mizanin on "WWE Monday Night Raw" at Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Monday, Paul was a part of a segment promoting the duo's tag team match against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at Wrestlemania 38 next month. And despite being a heel -- wrestling lingo for "bad guy" -- Paul did his best to endear himself to his hometown crowd.

"As it sounds like you know, I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. I went to Westlake High School," Paul said. "My boys from Westlake High School are all here, over there, they showed up tonight on Monday Night Raw. Shoutout Demons! I was a wrestler, myself. I placed fifth in the state of Ohio and I gotta say, I got nothing but respect for my city because Cleveland made me into the man that I am today!"

Paul's Cleveland homecoming, however, was ultimately derailed when The Miz -- a native of Parma -- began chastising their upcoming Wrestlemania opponents. The two were then joined by WWE legend Jerry Lawler, who spent a part of his childhood growing up in Amherst, Ohio, with "The King" proceeding to tease the idea of Cleveland one day hosting a Wrestlemania.

"I think that's an awesome idea!" Paul replied.

The Miz, however, was less enthusiastic.

"Really? You think so? I don't know man," the two-time WWE champion replied. "I love the city of Cleveland, but Cleveland isn't exactly a Wrestlemania city... to be honest with you, I don't even live here anymore. Nobody lives here. Whenever you get an ounce of success, you leave. Kind of like the Browns went to Baltimore and then what happened there? They won a Super Bowl. But they aren't the only ones who left and won a Super Bowl. How about Odell Beckham Jr.? LeBron James won a championship and left -- the same reason that Cleveland will never host a Super Bowl is the same reason that they will never host a Wrestlemania."
