Actors wanted for new TV show filming in Cleveland: How you can audition for ‘Burnt’

CLEVELAND — A new TV show is planning to film in Cleveland, and the production team is looking for the perfect cast.

Maybe you're the right person to star in Burnt.

Auditions are being held Saturday, March 16 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland.

Interested in auditioning? Here's everything you need to know:

- Arrive as close to 11 a.m. as possible, no sooner. No talent will be accepted after 3 p.m.

- Those auditioning should prepare a 30-second monologue in a similar theme of the desired character role.

- You may be filmed.

- Bring a headshot and resume to the audition.

- Submissions can also be e-mailed to the casting department at BURNTcleveland@gmail.com.

- Beachland Ballroom is located at 15711 Waterloo Road.

Burnt is labeled as “a twisty ensemble piece” and a “dark comedy/caper” that will be around 13 episodes per season.

IMDB describes the show as follows: “While a couple of verge-of-retirement hitmen from the UK go on vacation and unexpectedly end up in Cleveland, a couple average locals find themselves making a career change.”

Burnt is written/directed by Brent Gorcie, who is also the lead singer of Cleveland rock band Dark Water Rebellion.

Filming for the first episode is expected to begin in May.

The cast currently includes Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts, Masuimi Max, Youngstown's own Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini and Paul J. Alessi.
