VALLEY VIEW, Ohio — Cinemark is officially reopening!
The popular movie-theater chain will open several of its locations (including Valley View) to the public once again on Aug. 14, with enhanced safety and cleaning measures. It is currently offering a movie deal for fans of classic films, such as "Back to the Future," "Ghostbusters," and "The Goonies." Adult tickets cost $5, and tickets for kids cost $3.
Not ready to get back in theaters with people you don't know? Cinemark is now offering a private screening for 20 people, now for only $99. Parties will be able to pick from a list of classic films including "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back," and "The Matrix."
Along with the private screening for you and your friends, Cinemark is also offering concession stand deals like $5 for a large bucket of popcorn, $3.50 large fountain drink, and discounted candy at $2.50.

The reopening does not come without significant changes, however: In addition to required face masks for employees and guests, staggered showtimes, and limited capacities in auditoriums, Cinemark says it is also encouraging unwell guests to stay home and that they will "gladly provide a full ticket refund."
