"Relive the iconic scenes and heartwarming moments from Home Alone on the big screen, and then dive deep into the behind-the-scenes stories and insights with Macaulay Culkin himself," advertising materials for the event state. "Hear about his experiences on set, his favorite memories from filming, and his take on why this movie has become such a beloved holiday classic. This event is perfect for fans of all ages, from those who grew up watching Home Alone to younger generations just discovering the beloved film."

Culkin was just 10 years old when he starred as 8-year-old Kevin McCallister in the hit film, which went on to gross $476.7 million worldwide at the box office on an $18 million budget before becoming a fixture of home video and cable reruns.

The Akron Civic Theatre says a limited number of VIP tickets will be available offering a "personal post-show photo opportunity" with Culkin.

Home Alone: A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin begins at 6:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m.

Culkin is not the only Hollywood actor coming to the Akron Civic Theatre soon to relive a beloved 1990s classic; Academy Award-winner Helen Hunt will sit down for a live interview and screening of "Twister" on Sept. 28.
