AMHERST, Ohio — One man in Amherst created a lot of joy for people who were feeling down due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Tim Reed, a bagpiper from 'The Red Hackle Pipes and Drums,' entertained residents with his music at Sprenger Health Care's Amherst Manor.
"It's been a great experience to play for these people who can't actually get out and go see stuff like this. They wave, they open their windows, they clap and they sway," Reed said smiling.
With no visitors allowed in nursing homes, Nicole Sprenger arranged for Reed to play his bagpipes on this St. Patrick's Day.
"The residents were excited! They were smiling and they opened their windows and waving. It was just a good feeling to be able to create a little joy today," Sprenger said.
